How to find True Love
Love is not synonymous with ownership. As this day of romantic love approaches with a celebration of red hearts cupids and arrows as you walk pretty much anywhere in america these days my mind floats with thoughts of true love. What is true love? Love that is unbounded and free. Ever changing, constantly growing and allows us to be our best us. I realize that in exclusive partner relationships there is a contract and a a set of guidelines, but this isn't love. This is something that keeps us connected to each other and ourselves, gives us intimacy and trust, but this isn't love. Love is stepping back and being the best person that I can be so I can be the most present with the amazing people surrounding me. Love is knowing what I need and being clear with people who are close to me and listening openly to what they need. Love is giving freely what I feel i can give to the people around me. Love is forgiving myself and the world. Love is knowing that we are all loved and extraordinarily beautifully connected.
